LE TOUQUET PHOTO DIARY
Making the most of the final weekend of summer, we took a road trip to France. The seaside town of Le Touquet is a mere 45 minutes from the Calais tunnel making it the ideal destination for a family trip somewhere a little warmer, with a pace a little slower than what we’re used to. Le Touquet has a small and beautiful town where you can pick up freshly baked goods from the boulangerie and a coffee to go whilst shopping at the weekend market. We stocked up on fresh bread, vegetables and fish for a perfect family feast later on.
Dine on fresh oysters and rosé at Restaurant Perard. Seriously the F R E S H E S T oysters I’ve ever consumed. Free refills on the soupe de poisson was also glorious.
Beach days
Air B&B stays in a hilltop sea view holiday home meant sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. A little outdoor grill to cook the catch of the day was also pretty amazing.

A lovely holiday destination, and food looks so tasty. All good for you people living near the ferry ports on or near the south coast, and not the N E of Scotland like me!!

I use a Lumix DMC-GX80. It’s great for travelling as its compact but also you can change the lenses which is useful depending on what types of photos you want to take. I use Lightroom to edit my photos too.

I was the same! this is so compact and light weight. The original lens it comes with takes great photos and its so handy that you can also add different lenses. So I’ll use a 50mm for really sharp objects with blurred backgrounds. I totally love it and would recommend! 🙂
