Spring is upon us which means I’ve decided my winter clothes are ready to be packed away for the next six months. H&M, Mango, and a few other retailers have so many beautiful summer basics in at the moment I thought I’d share a few of my favourites in this post. Casual loungewear buys is my vibe even after we wave off lockdown and the pandemic way into our past. Dusting off my last season clothes I noticed a few pieces needed updating and replacing. The older (and hopefully wiser) I get I find myself purchasing a more neutral and simple style of clothing that doesn’t go in and out of fashion with the seasons. I find myself happy to spend a little more on these items too, however they never need to be expensive there’s great quality high street clothing that lasts years and years. Today I trawled the internet and went on a little summer shopping spree and am sharing what I found.

H&M always have great quality garments at a lower price, especially in their Conscious and more luxe lines. Their silk / cotton and cashmere / cotton blends are way more affordable than any other garments you’d find like this on the high street here’s what I got:
Their underwear is that perfect balance of slinky, comfy and perfectly fit that could rivals SKIMS for a fraction of the cost.
Finally, their summer loungewear basics edit is chic, comfortable and very reasonably priced.
STAY WILD SWIM
The eco conscious swimwear brand made out of recycled ocean plastic have expanded their range to clothing and underwear as well. I have had my eyes on the Lana linen shirt for SO long and decided spring / summer 2021 was the season I finally got to enjoy this beauty. She is so comfortable to wear and I swear as the days go on she fits better too. Made in London and every part of the process is eco friendly right down to the buttons made from nuts. 100% worth the investment in this shirt, especially as you’re supporting a small, London business whilst saving the ocean at the same time. yay!
Mango is having a moment for luxe loungewear. Beautiful slinky ribbed shorts, wool cropped tops and cashmere blend socks. The epitome of when comfort doesn’t have to compromise style.
Of course no outfit is complete without accessories. These vintage inspired gold “croissant” hoops by Anisa Sojka are my favourite earrings right now.
The pandemic is far from over, so masks are going to be a staple in our 2021 wardrobes as much as they were in 2020. Here are a few of my favourite picks.
